Our Commerce programs are provincially recognized DEP programs. Our students will have successfully completed their curriculum within expected hours and met or exceeded competency
Work Placement
Each of our students must complete a 100 or 120 hour work placement at the end of their studies. In this work placement they put their skills to the test in the real world.
Autonomy
Our students work in an individualized program that promotes problem solving, resourcefulness and an ability to find solutions. Students learn essential work place skills that will make them a valued asset to your business

Student Commitment
We commit to training our students to be successful in the professional workplace. Students complete language, software and technical training but also understand the importance of solution focussed skills, group dynamics, and professionalism. Our goal is to help students find a successful career.
Our Commitment to Employers
For the past 30 years, WQCC has trained and prepared students for the workforce. Our success relies on two performance indicators: First, are students being employed from placement? Secondly, are employers coming back to ask for more students? In both cases, we are consistently reaching our goals. Our students learn not only the hard skills related to their profession of choice, but also complete modules that require self-reflection and introspection. We are dedicated to providing our students with every opportunity to learn skills and better themselves as people as they progress through the program.
Meeting Industry Expectations
Our students work with modern office applications, AI, and software. Currently, students work extensively in Office 365, Sage 50 Accounting, and Profile Tax applications, respectively. WQCC’s training aims to provide employers with students who are up-to-date on all new technologies and ways of learning to best contribute to your workplace.
